Everyone has a unique experience moving through the world. What would a physical representation of your personal observations look like in words, pictures, and book form? In this camp, you'll learn various book-binding techniques, as well as how to embellish and fill our nature journals with observations made through sketching, painting, embossing, flower pressing, bark rubbings, small cyanotypes (printing with sunlight), scientific plots, and instant photographs. In each class, we'll explore a different method for recording observations and then have the opportunity to experiment with that method as you create a personalized journal that you can continue to enjoy long after camp ends.
