The Studio School at The Current offers a unique after-school art program inspired by Europe’s oldest art academies. Our robust, mastery-based curriculum provides students with the skills and confidence to realize their artistic visions. 
 
Each of the six week sessions of Teen Studio School will focus on a different content area. Beginning with an in-depth exploration of form and anatomy, this class offers students the opportunity to draw from live models, discover practical anatomical science, and use a variety of two dimensional media to represent physical form. Students will then study landscape paintings and photographs throughout history and create their own using photographs as reference and practicing plein air painting, or painting outdoors.
