Students will learn to use their non-visual senses to influence and inspire different methods of abstract mark-making. Breathing, music, natural sounds, and poetry, for example, can all be used to elevate the creating process. This class will emphasize working in a series of drawing and painting and as a process or a method of formatting practice to expand participants' modes of creating. Seasoned artists or those new to drawing are welcome. Materials included, but bring your own brushes and drawing tools if desired.
