Are you curious about sculpture figures made from clay? In this exciting camp, you'll have the opportunity to create your own figure sculptures using clay. To allow for a full range of creative expression, we'll draw upon self-portraiture exercises and use images from magazines, comic books, movies, television shows, or video games as inspiration. While honing hand-building skills, we'll delve into the history and significance of figure sculpture in both art and popular culture. By examining various examples, we'll draw connections between dolls, action figures, and figurative sculptures across different time periods. By the end of camp, you'll have a refined sculpture to share with your family that showcases your creativity and dexterity.
 
All ceramic pieces will be ready for pick up within 2 weeks following the last day of camp. Shipping is also possible at cost.
