Planned Giving
The Anne August Legacy Society
Make a gift for generations to come.

Anne August was a generous philanthropist invested in sustaining organizations for the long term. Her bequest to The Current enabled us to invest in the future of our education programs and the start of an endowment for long-term support.
Long-time supporters of The Current – Chris Curtis (left) is one of the founders of the annual summer exposition Exposed.
The generosity of Ms. August and many like-minded people in the decades since our inception (also made possible by a bequest) have enabled The Current to flourish as a place where internationally and nationally recognized artists and local Vermont artists exhibit their work.
This is the power that an individual can have by leaving a planned gift. We invite you to become a part of this legacy by making a planned gift of your own to The Current.
There are many ways to make a lasting gift to The Current. Some of the most common ways include: bequests, gifts of art, gifts of a life insurance policy or IRAs, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts and gifts of real estate.
The Current recommends that you discuss your gift plans with your own financial and legal advisers. Here at The Current we also are happy to discuss your plans and would welcome the opportunity to learn more about your goals for your gift.

Make a gift in your will
Naming The Current as a beneficiary of a will, a trust, a retirement fund or life insurance policy is a remarkable way to leave a legacy.
