Unbroken Current

The six artists in Unbroken Current dive deeply into their respective narratives, ranging from an imaginative utopia or dystopia, to personal and contemporary, to ancestral and post-colonial. The work investigates personal and cultural identity, social justice, and history through the lens of photography, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. It weaves history through contemporary events like an unbroken current, from a combination of disparate histories and cultures that shape the artists as individuals.

Lecture by scholar William Edelglass entitled, The History of the Concept of Race. Presented in partnership with the Vermont Humanities Council.
