Summer Exhibitions Opening Festival

The Current is excited to announce its 2024 Summer Opening Festival, which will
be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm. The event will mark the opening of three
indoor exhibitions as well as our annual outdoor exhibition, Exposed. All community members are
invited to join us for this free celebration.

Festival Schedule:


  • 4:00pm: Indoor reception with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.


  • 4:30pm: Guided walking tour through town with artist talks in front of the Exposed sculptures.


  • 5:30pm: Celebration on the lawn of the Art Center featuring live music by Refrigerator Art and complimentary snacks and beverages, including beer courtesy of von Trapp Brewery, Lake Champlain Chocolates ice cream, and Caja Madera tacos.


Additionally, members of The Current are invited to our annual meeting of the membership and special indoor exhibition preview and reception at 3:15 pm. The member reception will feature sparkling refreshments and hors d'oeuvres.


Advance RSVPs are welcome but not required.
