**Every Town is a statewide project with the primary goal of placing at least one parcel of land in every
town in trust for BIPOC to permanently access and steward. Land is donated and held in collaboration
with the Northeast Farmers of Color Land Trust (NEFOC). Every Town Neighbors is an accompanying
grassroots organizing and mutual aid network that centers safety, particularly through empowering
anti-racism and anti-oppression work in our spheres of influence and communities, with focus areas
where land is donated to Every Town. This project has been crafted as an alternative to dominant land
ownership models, as a way to increase land and home access for BIPOC, and as a mechanism for
culture change that centers relationships with each other and land.
