Class + Camp Policies

Registrations

For all classes and camps, payment in full is due upon registration.  A $50 non-refundable deposit is required as part of the registration fee.

Cancellations

The Current reserves the right to cancel or postpone any programming, online or in-person, at any time and for any reason. We consider multiple factors when determining whether or not to hold programming, including availability of staff, inclement weather, and COVID-19 spread in our community. We reserve the right to cancel in-person programming if we feel that the health and safety of our staff, the children in our care, or the general public will be put at risk.

Winter Weather Cancellations: If a class must be canceled due to severe weather, we will schedule an optional makeup session on a different day during the session. Click here to read our complete class policies document.

If any student (adult or child) is unable to comply with the behavioral policy outlined below, The Current reserves the right to withdraw them from a program.

Refunds

Cancellation by Registrant: If a student is unable to participate for any reason, registrants may receive a full refund with two weeks' written notice. The $50 registration fee is non-refundable.

Program Cancellations: If an entire program is canceled for any reason by The Current, registrants may receive a full refund. If a single class is canceled, we will do our best to schedule a make-up opportunity, however, this is not guaranteed, and no refunds will be issued.

If any participant is unable to comply with the behavioral policy outlined below and is asked not to return to the program, registrants will not be issued any refund.

Refunds will be issued via the payment method that was used to submit the original payment for the program, product, or service.

Behavioral Policy
At The Current we believe that meaningful, formative art experiences should be available and accessible to all people, regardless of age, class, race, ability, and geography.

As part of our commitment to accessible and available arts programming, we use restorative practices whenever possible to mediate and resolve disputes that may arise during our programs. That being said, any program participant who repeatedly threatens the safety of themselves or those around them will be removed from the program and no refund will be given.

In this context we consider safety holistically, including all physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person’s wellbeing. Bullying, discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated at The Current.
